Overall-I loved this book more than the first! Which I already really enjoyed. The only part of the book that I didnt like was the death of a character that I really wanted to see go further. But generally this book was FULL of action, and mystery which I loved. I continued to enjoy the writing, the plot and the snarky language!

Plot - Ms. Norris did not disappoint yet again. This was great book! This was so much fun to read. I felt so interested and invested in the book, I couldnt put it down. It was a constant action sequence and I cant believe she was able to keep my attention the whole time. Never a dull moment. I think the pace was perfect it was slow enough yet fast enough. I was disappointed that Ben wasnt in the book more, but I understood why. And I think the way everything played out in the end was really good! This was one of those books that you dont want to end, and when it did I was happy with the ending and sad it was over. I also like that the author made difficult choices for every character.  this is a must read!!

Characters-- I fell in love with Barclay in this one. I loved that he went from the guy she didnt like to the guy who helped her save the world, it was fitting, and everything came full circle. I also liked see her and Ben struggle with their relationship and their feelings. Firguing out that relationships are not always easy. I didnt like the way she faltered frequently, but I thought it was at the least natural and made sense given the scenario. I liked watching Janelle learn and grow and would love to see her continue in books to come. I liked getting to know her better too. We see a different side of Janelle, but one where she still does everything she can to help the people she loves. Her personality is so fun! Overall a great 2nd book!
